Brainspotting
Brainspotting can be especially helpful for:
Trauma and PTSD
Anxiety, depression, and chronic stress
Chronic pain and somatic symptoms
Performance and creativity blocks
Grief, loss, and life transitions
Negative core beliefs about yourself
Anything that feels activating
I use Brainspotting as part of my integrative approach, meaning it doesn't exist in isolation, but alongside nervous system regulation skills, somatic awareness, and the relational safety we build together in our work. You remain in control of the pace and direction of your healing at every step.
What is it?
Sometimes words aren't enough. Whether you've tried talk therapy and still feel stuck, or you sense that something is held in your body that your mind can't quite access, brainspotting offers a different path to healing.
Brainspotting is a powerful, brain-body therapy that works by identifying specific eye positions, called "brainspots," that correspond to stored emotional and physiological experiences. Where you look affects how you feel, and by locating and holding your gaze at these spots, the brain is given the opportunity to locate, process, and release experiences that have become trapped in the nervous system.
Like EMDR, brainspotting doesn't require you to retell your story in detail. It's a gentle, focused approach that allows your brain and body to do what they're naturally wired to do: heal.
If you're curious whether brainspotting might be right for you, I'd love to connect. Schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation and we can talk through what you're experiencing and how I might be able to help.
